This is how the look and feel of Careclix’s telemedicine comprehensive platform materialized
when viewed from a different lens i.e. web.
The healthcare revolution was finally there when patients, providers, regulators and insurers turned to telemedicine to do their jobs. On the same paradigm, our client didn’t waste a split second to tap the emergent need of telemedicine in his sector. He came to us with a requirement of app that provides remote support and acts as a virtual care center to patients across and facilitates appointment scheduling, video calling with audio and video conferencing features, enabling additional camera to share any physical impairment, screen sharing and whiteboards with the patient on a remote location.
A fully functional Telemedicine application that supports:
- 01. Webrtc features like chatting video and audio calling, conferencing and screen sharing, whiteboards.
- 02. Appointment booking based of schedule or online/ offline status of doctor.
- 03. Multiple payment gateways
- 04. EMR integration
As a next step, after identifying the root definition, our Design team worked upon prototyping and wire frame testing for both the iOS and Android platforms. Best done early in the design stage over a series of iterations, these prototypes defined in detail each of the app’s views for 2 user roles: Doctor and Patient. This helped us to discover the usability issues before the app went live.
Our development team from the inception till the end faced wired challenges that were the key to successful completion of Telemedicine App. They spearheaded the process by building a system for two separate user roles in the app: Patient and Doctor. And for the web there are separate user roles like Doctors, Patients, Admin, Clinic, Clinic Admin, and Schedulers. On this development procedure they met with notable challenges like:
- Integrating webrtc for audio & video call,video conferencing.
- Enabling screen sharing and white boards with the patients on a remote location.
- Managing appointments, bookings and callings based on different time zones.
- Doctors can set and manage their availability. they can also set their status to online and offline.
- Patients can book doctors, view their upcoming appointments.
- Patients can add dependents to the profile.
- Pokitdok integration for insurance.
- Multiple payment gateways.
